The Fortress at Obetz, Ohio
It was perfect weather for the conclusion of a Cross Country season, especially following a Regional meet just one week before that provided wet cold mud for athletes to compete in. Slightly frosted and crisp, the sun shined and the winds stayed calm as the athletes were treated to a beautiful day as a reward to a season of hard work.
The fields were packed with Ohio’s best distance runners all ready to bring their best to challenge the rest. Amongst those runners was Fairbanks’s very own, Sophomore Rachael Hoover.
