Rachael Hoover & Ohio Elite CC Team compete at the Cross Country Coaches Youth National Championship.

Braving the freezing conditions Hoover set out with a goal to have a fun run.
“I love the cold, the colder the better. My family grew up in New York where they still have something they call winter, I was made for this kind of weather, I knew it was going to be a fun run.” quipped Hoover.
Even with a fun run goal the competitive spirit propelled Rachael to lead the Ohio Elite CC team finishing 16th overall in 19:44.30.
Rachael teamed up with Kate Lehman & Natalie Hunter of Northmor High School, Adrian Clutter & Taylor Severt of East Knox High School and Morgan White of Cardington Lincoln High School.
Conserving their energy the Ohio Elite CC teams comments of the race amounted to “Cold, Fun.”

Team Lahmers Heat up at Hot Chocolate 5k
Nov. 20, 2022 - Columbus, Ohio
Team Lahmers brought the heat to the freezing cold Hot Chocolate 5k on Sunday. Ava Lahmers took the top prize as the 1st female finisher and 39th overall in a time of 21:11. Elaina Lahmers was close behind her little sister finishing 53rd overall in 21:41. Audrey (24:31, 102place) and Elizabeth Lahmers (24:34, 104th place) rounded out Team Lahmers.
