Toledo Running Study!
The University of Toledo seeking high school athletes to participate in case study.......
Dear Coach Van Winkle,
The Motion Analysis & Integrative Neurophysiology (MAIN) Lab at the University of Toledo is recruiting adolescents who participate on their high school’s cross-country team. We would like to invite your runners to participate in a new online research study investigating how running habits contribute to running injuries throughout the fall 2022 cross-country season.
If you would be willing to forward this email on to your high school runners and/or their parents, we would be extremely appreciative!
We have over $4000 worth of prize drawings available for participants, including:
· Weekly gift card drawings will be conducted for those who complete the surveys (multiple $25 gift cards per week). Drawing start after the week of July 4th.
· End of the study drawings for larger items will be performed as well for participants! We will have at least four $100 gift cards and three Garmin Watches ($200 value).
This study will be nationwide and we are aiming to have 1000 runners involved!
Participation in this study involves:
· One pre-season online survey (approximately 5-15 minutes to complete)
· A daily online wellness and running journal throughout the season (approximately 1-3 minutes per day). We will text or email runners daily reminders.
We are starting this study immediately. Study information can be found at the following link:
