Rockin' 1000s, Schools Back in Session & Leadership Council Veto's workout!!!
Learn to Fly
Rockin’ 1000’s = 1000m Interval workout. Wednesday we are back to school learning to fly but first we are going send off the summer break flying on the track this Tuesday.
The training plan still has added miles for this week, up to 50miles, but even maintaining mileage or a slight decrease in weekly mileage is realistic with the restart of school. To hit 50 miles will take a lot of personal effort over the weekend to help you burn out bright……
The Veto
The Training Council showed their ability to impact are training this fall with a veto of a work out. I suggested another track work out for this coming Friday but the Council stepped in. The consensus was we haven’t done enough hill training. So the veto was laid down and a change in plans was made. We will run hills on Thursday. Very proud of the Training Council for taking ownership of our training.
