I love this video and I feel like it’s a good place to start Week 2. Aneta Zeppttella goes from running her first 5k in 2016 to running the Western States Endurance Run in 2022. If you skip to 14:24 in the film Nettie explains her view on running races, “It’s a book, it’s a story and I’m reading it and I don’t know how the story will end.” It’s a great analogy and exactly where we are. Opening up the book about our team and season yet we don’t know how it ends.
Open runs are back this week running Tuesdays and Thursdays till August 1st. Open runs are great opportunities to log miles with your teammates. Popsicles will be flowing for post run cool downs and ultimate frisbee will be rolling too.
