Training Council and Team Captains will be established this week. The purpose of the Training Council is give athletes a voice in their training from week to week. Team Captains will be on that council.

The Council will have 1 simple rule, 80/20, when developing weekly training plans.

80/20 Rule:

  • 80% of training will be done at Low Intensity.

  • 20% of training will be done at Moderate to High Intensity.

  • Weekly Milage Examlpe:

    • 10miles per week:

      • 8 miles Low Intsity

      • 2 miles Moderate to High Intensity

    • 40miles per week

      • 32 miles Low Intensity

      • 8 miles Moderate to High Intensity
