Training Council and Team Captains will be established this week. The purpose of the Training Council is give athletes a voice in their training from week to week. Team Captains will be on that council.
The Council will have 1 simple rule, 80/20, when developing weekly training plans.
80/20 Rule:
80% of training will be done at Low Intensity.
20% of training will be done at Moderate to High Intensity.
Weekly Milage Examlpe:
10miles per week:
8 miles Low Intsity
2 miles Moderate to High Intensity
40miles per week
32 miles Low Intensity
8 miles Moderate to High Intensity
